Evelyn Veras graduated from the University of Florida where she earned her B.S. in Health Education and Behavior as well as her Juris Doctor. At the University of Florida, she was a member of the Florida Moot Court team, the Florida Law Review, Florida Blue Key, and was inducted into the UF Hall of Fame. After graduating law school, she worked at a national law firm representing companies, organizations, and individuals in commercial disputes in both state and federal court. The focus of her practice includes commercial disputes, general liability, and insurance defense. She is a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar, the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida. When she is not practicing law, she coaches competitive club volleyball teams in Central Florida.
