In Memoriam: Eric David Jones, Esq. (1990 – 2026)
Walker, Revels, Greninger, PLLC joins Eric’s family, friends, and the entire legal community in mourning the sudden and tragic passing of Eric David Jones, Esq., on April 20, 2026, following an automobile accident. At only 36 years of age, Eric was a rising talent in insurance defense whose dedication, intellect, and professionalism left a lasting impression on everyone at the firm and the clients he served.
A native of Cape Coral, Florida, and a graduate of Mariner High School, Eric earned his undergraduate degree in Legal Studies and Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida. While at UCF, he distinguished himself as a standout member of the Moot Court team, earning the Outstanding Orator Award and competing at the national championship level. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During law school, Eric completed an internship assisting Fortune 100 companies with eDiscovery in complex civil litigation matters—an experience that sharpened his attention to detail and strategic approach to discovery and case management.
After passing the Florida Bar Examination, Eric proudly joined Walker, Revels, Greninger, PLLC in Orlando. He focused his practice on first-party property matters, general liability insurance defense, and bad faith insurance litigation. Eric brought energy, thoroughness, and a client-first mindset to every file. He was known among colleagues for his quick study of complex claims, his collaborative spirit, and his unwavering commitment to achieving efficient, favorable outcomes for the carriers and businesses he represented.
Beyond his legal work, Eric was a devoted son, brother, partner, and dog dad. He is survived by his parents, Donna and David Jones; his sisters, Caitlin and Alexy; his partner, Samantha Kowalczyk; and his beloved dog, Boomer.
Eric’s time with our firm, though far too brief, reminded us of the importance of passion, integrity, and service in the practice of law. His contributions to our team and to the firm clients will not be forgotten. We are grateful for the opportunity to have known and worked alongside him, and we extend our deepest condolences to all who loved him.
