John McDonough was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1970. He earned his Bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida. He is duly qualified and admitted to practice law in all Florida courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He served in the United States Air Force as a Captain with the Judge Advocate General’s Corp (JAG). John is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).  John has been rated “AV Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubbell for over 20 years. John concentrates his insurance defense practice to first party liability and general liability, including premises liability, motor vehicle accidents and realtor errors and omissions.
